HowMuchie for Android
Effective: 17 August 2026 Last updated: 19 August 2026
HowMuchie tracks your travel spending on your phone. This policy explains the limited information involved when you use it.
HowMuchie is published by Codelogy Labs Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202618954W), 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. Codelogy Labs is responsible for HowMuchie's handling of personal data described in this policy.
For privacy questions or requests, contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at hello@codelogylabs.com.
HowMuchie keeps everything you enter on your device. There is no account and no sign-in, and we never receive your profile, trips, budgets, spending entries or notes.
Stored on your device only: the name, home country and home currency you enter; your app lock setting; each trip's destination, currency, dates, exchange rate and budget; and each spending amount, date and note. Notes are free text, so avoid entering anything sensitive.
The app does not ask for your email address, phone number, identification number, contacts, photos, precise location or payment details. HowMuchie does not send your profile, trips, budgets, spending entries or notes to Codelogy Labs or to AdMob. We run no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software of our own.
If you switch on the app lock, the check is performed by your device's operating system, which returns only a pass or fail. We never receive your fingerprint, face or any other biometric data.
HowMuchie uses Google AdMob for banner ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares certain information, including:
Google states that it uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes. We may see aggregated advertising reports in AdMob, but we do not receive your HowMuchie entries or Google's raw advertising data.
Where required by applicable law or Google policy, HowMuchie presents advertising privacy or consent choices before ads are requested, as applicable.
See the Google Privacy Policy and Google's explanation for partner apps.
HowMuchie offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock the full version. Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and policies. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The app receives the purchase status needed to recognise your entitlement to the full version.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to you, manage the support request and meet any applicable legal obligations. We keep it only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes. We do not sell personal data.
Google may process AdMob information in countries outside Singapore. Google handles that information under its own privacy terms.
You can view, correct or delete your entries in the app at any time. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling HowMuchie removes its locally stored data from that device. If your device or operating system independently maintains a backup, that backup is controlled by your device or account provider rather than Codelogy Labs. We hold no server copy of your entries, so we cannot recover, access, correct or delete them for you.
You can manage ad personalisation and your advertising identifier in your Android settings.
For privacy questions or to exercise any rights available under law, including under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at hello@codelogylabs.com. We ordinarily hold only information you choose to send us directly, such as a support email.
HowMuchie is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, do not use it.
Your entries stay on your device unless your device or operating system independently backs them up. We use reasonable safeguards for information you send us directly, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
We will update this page and its "last updated" date if our data practices change. If a change materially affects how HowMuchie handles personal data, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate.
